The Art with Africa Seminar and Exhibition were a great success with a continued attendance of 50 sometimes going up to 70.

Congratulations and thanks to everybody involved in the day. It was amazing to see it all come together after so many meetings and months of planning.

The outcomes at this point are :
1. The Keynan Mission will support academic exchange by NCAD.
2. There is the oportunity to create 3rd year electives around 3 african projects led by Michael Browne ,and Augustine O Dunaghue. Fintan O’Toole laid down clear guidlines for thinking about the ethical issues in this work.
3. There is an invitation to a 2 week residency in the Sahara.
4. We can publish the conference as a text and as a DVD.
5. The confidence level of the students who organised this day is very high.
